Welcome to my kitchen

In January 2009 I weighed far more than I was comfortable with.  I was stuck in a rut and couldn't find a way to get myself on the path I knew I needed to be on.

With my friend J I joined Slimming World and found a fun and motivational leader in Jeanette, a great group of people, and inspiration.

A year later I'm slimmer, I'm happier and I'm feeling much more positive about life generally.

A key part of this success has been ensuring variety in my food, trying new things and not having the same things week in week out.

A difficulty I've had is finding new things to try, keeping my imagination working, and struggling to work out a dish from the ingredients I've got in my cupboard at home.

I decided to start this blog to create an on-line library of some of my favourite recipes.  Most of them are healthy, all of them are tasty, and some of them are downright naughty.  After all, we all need a little bit of syn in our life right?
